Harvey Jessop is a founder member of the Peer Group. After graduating with a BA (Hons) from the University of East Anglia and obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Language Studies (Interpreting and Translation) from the University of Bath, Harvey worked for eight years as a translator/reviser at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Since going freelance in 2000, he has translated for various European institutions (European Court of Justice, European Commission, European Parliament, European Investment Bank, Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union, European Space Agency) and for the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, the International Court of Justice, and other bodies. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and translates from French, German, Swedish and Italian.
